Nurses who remain in local communities and help provide a higher level of care is desperately needed. Our goal is to help you. The special needs of rural health populations are a focus woven through the tapestry of both concentrations. However you don't need to live and/or work in a rural area to apply to the program.

Accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, the Master of Science in Nursing program at Frostburg State provides several options for meeting your individual needs. Choose a traditional Master's degree track or join the nurse practitioner program.
Traditional MSN Tracks
Designed for registered nurses (RNs) interested in teaching or leadership positions.
